Julie Loffredi is an award winning journalist and nationally recognized media consultant. Julie also runs the marketing column "Thinking Big" for Inc.com, a business magazine website that brings in 28.4 Million page views daily. She is also a contributor to various news sites and has appeared on Fox News Channel, Forbes, USA Today, and The Travel Channel.
As a television guest, Julie discussing everything from the latest travel trends to how to save money. She has appeared on NBC’s TODAY Show, Good Morning America and other popular television programs during regularly scheduled national media tours.
Prior to focusing on travel news, Julie spent ten years as an investigative and beat reporter for CNN affiliates in the northeast. She has worked in newsrooms at WPRI, WLNE, WMUR, and WVIT. Her first television reporting job, she broke a national crime story, earning her an Instant Citation Award from the Associated Press for breaking news. Outside of the newsroom, Julie is a continuing education instructor for Rhode Island School of Design and is a guest speaker.
Julie began her career at NBC News, working as an intern for Dateline. At 30 Rock, she learned the ropes from the best in the business — veterans like Hoda Kotb and Jane Pauley. Other internships included satellite media tour company Medialink and the Downtown Community Television Center, run by documentary film director Jon Alpert.
She graduated from Fordham University.
